Latest product being introduced by Adobe Corporation was the Creative Suite 5, or also known as Adobe CS5. Well as all of us know that most designer and developer, have choose Adobe products to create most stunning design. For example, Adobe Photoshop, which is well known as the most popular design tools.

So many designs have been created by Photoshop, from image manipulation until web design. Since then, in my opinion so far Adobe Photoshop have been used almost by all user in designing world, but to forget also a lot and tons of software out there trying to beat Adobe Photoshop.
I managed to grab a copy a copy of Adobe Dreamweaver CS5. A bit of my past history, I've learned HTML by using Adobe Dreamweaver since ages before which was Macromedia Dreamweaver. And until now I'm still rely on Dreamweaver, (sometimes) just to get the perfect syntax, though.... :)
Well today, while I was mingling around with Dreamweaver CS5, I found out there was a cute add-ons which being integrate into this new Adobe Dreamweaver CS5, which was Widget Browser. In Dreamweaver CS3 and CS4, for us to use these pre-installed plugins, you need to use Dreamweaver Extension and some of these Extension you need to pay for it, right?!
So, in this small tutorial I'll try my best to show a bit of these Widget Browser that I discovered and how to use it. And for me it'll help us especially web designer to speed up our work and make our bosses or our client happy. Let's get started.
Step 1
Launch your Adobe Dreamweaver CS5,
then click at Extend Dreamweaver
and choose Widget Browser....
Step 2
Once you have selected Widget Browser, a popup message box will appear that look like this:
Then just click Ok. It will open your browser and redirect to Adobe Labs Download. Just download Widget Browser. Then install your Widget Browser.
Once your Widget Browser successfully installed, launch the application, and you'll have this screen:
These are all of the available widget that you could download and integrate with your Dreamweaver CS5. For example, I would like to installed a Lightbox Gallery Widget. Once you have selected the widget that you like to installed, you'll prompt to sign in to Adobe Labs Account, if you have just sign in if not just registered, it's free.
Once you have sign in, you will showed the details of your widget that to be installed:
Then click at "+ Add to My Widget". A confirmation screen will prompt.
Step 3
Now, go to your widget, and here you could create your own settings to suit you requirement.
To change the settings, click at Configure, and you'll have all of these settings. (Reminder: These settings are different according to the widget).
So, I hope this tutorial could gave some new ideas how to add Widget to your Adobe Dreamweaver CS5. Just remember, "Sharing is Caring". Next I'll show how to integrate your Widget into your page.
